Joe, thanks. I know you were also looking to mount lights on your trim tabs. I was surprised at how much downward angle you could get with the lights mounted on them. My lagoon depth is 5 feet and I lit the bottom with the tabs all the way down. Two bolts and 4200 to secure them is all it took. The A6 size is perfect for tab mounting. Routed the wire through my existing holes for the trim tabs. Lacey Marine has them if anyone is looking to buy them. They cost a bit, though check with Dan for prices, he did good for me. The Amphibians are more affordable then most and they put out a bright beam for the lowest current draw. Expect either green or blue would be the choice. I chose green since it had the deepest light penetration in dirty water. Blue looked to be the alternate choice and preferred down south where the waters are clearer, not something we always have.
