It's not a "new" channel, they just cleaned up the old one. THey ssem to have straightened a turn or 2 though.

Yes it is marked.

Did they get rid of the dredge yet?

I think Davku means the cut.
It is not marked and probably won't be.

I used to be able to see the dredge from upstairs.
I notice a few days ago it isn't there.
Maybe it was in for repair or something, but I think they are done.

Dredge has been done. Stay to the green side of the channel when going by 36 and 36A. When the dredge put the buoys back they put the reds in about 3.5 feet of water. I did ask the dredge to kindly put them further South where ther is about 8 feet of water but to no avail. I would move them myself but I am sure somebody would think I was moving them so people would run aground. Be safe.

Sean,
Want to call the ANT to recommend they move them to mark best water? You can or I can if you like.

Thanks Dave. Call has been made and from what they said they should be here early next week. My feeling is they will move them when they take the lights off and put the Winter buoys in. Great timing for everything. Dredge in the middle of the summer, people running aground left and right. Season over, dredge done, put the buoys back where they should be in the winter. I can't wrap my brain around it sometimes.
