Fishing machine with one of the largest cockpits/decks for her size. I'm jealous. Bloody the decks. Good luck.

Thank you everyone.
Diesels? Could not afford them. So for now I'll make due with those thirsty 454s. Bad timing with fuel going up 23 cents on Tues. Its a road tax - so will that affect marine fuels?

Yes it will. NJ does not differentiate between on and off road gas. I believe this does apply to diesel where they add die.

It does apply to marine fuel. It also applies to any gas station or fuel dock's inventory. So tomorrow they all get hit for23 cents times every gallon of fuel in their inventory!

I filled up yesterday ahead of the tax taking affect tomorrow.

Congrats on the boat. We have had our 31 for 41 years. Converted it to diesel in 2008.

If you have questions, come over and join us on the Bertram 31 site. A lot of knowledge over there. All are welcome.

I believe the tax is not included in Marine Diesel. As an FYI, if you keep track of your fuel use and keep receipts you might be able deduct the federal tax on your income tax.

Check with your accountant.
