Summer time surf fishing seems to be the mode we are in now, but the occasional striped bass making its presents known is keeping things interesting. Fluke fishing in the surf improves daily. Anglers should be taking advantage of the new (2) fluke at 16" being allowed in Island Beach State Park, just remember to have the fish tagged at the check station located about 1 mile south of the entrance gate before leaving the park...
