Thanks all, I d/the manual and was looking at it. I got it working. All channel, scan only, You cant pick what channels to scan. Thanks again. My dad once told me, when all else fails read the instructions, lol

And the Uniden Solara sucks, Only all channel scan and I put it up to my Uniden HH Where I can pick what channels to scan and by the time the fixed mount scans around the conversation on the HH is all done, so you lose it all. Even Channel 16 dosent kick in, it must channel around again..

Sorry, Dan I just wanted to close this on the Uniden Solara fixed mount. My unit is a few years old and I'm sure the newer ones are better..
