your boat's being picked up tomorrow morning-larry called me...i loaded all the stuff in the cabin...
the sea craft-it was rough, way rough, before it was redone in my shop-took over 1 year...transom was completley replaced, rewired,as in rewired,as in,everything in the boat, removed and thrown away...new,as in new power system-engine,transom plate and drive-the hull was refinished in gel coat-it took 2 weeks of sanding and wet sanding,by hand,to get that finish...
**when i state "refinish",that means the entire hull-rub rail to waterline,it was sanded down, any imperfections were repaired.then, the hull was sprayed with the original color gel coat 10mils thick...big job !!
lots of work went into that job-more than i even mentioned...
that blackfin you got from me,people would kill to have a rig like that-gonna be cheap to run,and it flies, the sea trial told you that,30kts top end ! you will never get that rig to pound, few boat owners can say that-remember the 25 grady sailfish you had, remember how bad that rig slammed and pounded ? that blackfin will cut through without the slamming and pounding-no more visits to the chiropractor,or the dentist !!
little more TLC on your rig-paint the hull-rub rail to water line, and you're set...
i wish you the best of luck with that rig ! thanks !
