Description
Yesterday we had out Jake Kella from Wis, my brother Capt Bill had me out poling and spotting on the Soc-et-to-um, Jake had his 1st Tarpon ever, I almost fell off the poling platform when this monster hit the mullet.

Sweet catch, congrats on Jake's 1st! I never had the opportunity to hook up with one - yet wink I'm guessing about 30 minutes to bring 'em boatside...and what kind of tackle did you use...?

John we use Penn reels Fierce 6000's and Star Rods (Star is a sponser)50lb test with a 100 pd flor leader, circle hooks and live Mullet, no it was closer to 45 minutes, he dragged us thru and under the bridge twice
